IEP / 504 Plan Support
We work with families to secure and optimize Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 accommodations. That includes intake assessments, drafting proposal documents, consulting with evaluators, attending IEP meetings, and appealing modifications or denials. Our goal is to ensure your child receives the support they’re entitled to under law.
School Discipline & Placement Advocacy
When disciplinary actions (suspension, expulsion, alternative placement) threaten a student’s progress, DCA intervenes. We help you understand due process rights, negotiate safe placements, challenge improper exclusion, and advocate for appropriate interventions so your child can stay in school or return safely.
College Readiness & Career Coaching
Education advocacy includes preparing for life beyond high school. DCA works with students and families on college planning, scholarship access, transition services, career exploration, resume and application coaching, and bridging supports for postsecondary success.
